Service Provision

We aim to provide an appropriate setting and deliver high quality support and housing management service. GreenBridge16Plus will deliver a responsive housing management service based on the principles of seeking to empower young people to take responsibility for managing their living environment.

The accommodation will be welcoming and integrated as far as practical into the local community, the furnishing and décor used will be suitable for this client group.

The layout of the property will ensure as far as possible a safe and secure environment for young people that promote independence in order to facilitate individual personal development.

GreenBridge16Plus will encourage informed risk taking by conducting a detailed risk assessment for each young person at the application stage.

GreenBridge16Plus also recognises that diversity is not welcomed by all. In our society, certain groups and individuals have been, and continue to be, treated unfairly.

GreenBridge16Plus will positively work to make sure that all young people are given a fair and equal chance to participate in what we have to offer.

Our aim is to work with young people, aged 16 and older, who are looked after, and preparing to leave the care of the local authority.

Our approach when working with young people is to see each one as an individual and not to place labels upon them or stereotype them.
